It has been so fun to decorate our new house for Christmas. It's been a needed excuse to ignore all the projects and instead cover them up with sparkle and lights. I plan on doing a whole post on our tree, but in the meantime, here are some corners making us happy :-)
| I love vintage Santas and my children are pretty adorable too :) |
| Henry put up stocking for both his fish and his favorite stuffed animal. What will Santa bring them? |
| Each year I add a few bottle brush trees to my collection. I buy the big bags of trees at the dollar store, bleach them and then re-dye them. This year I'm working on adding pink, yellow and orange. |
| My little Christmas elves have been so busy. Their little hands have been sewing, painting and woodworking like crazy. Henry whipped out this little red felt balloon the other day and I think it's quite charming. |
| This is probably going to sound weird, but I LOVE this picture of 2 year old me, complete with the purple crayon which I took everywhere. I adore the pink background, the vintage Santa and my awesome coat! My parents usually took slide photos of my sisters and me, so having an actual photograph is pretty special. |
| It's always Havah's job to set up the nativity. She started adding the little wooden snowman when she was about two years old, and he's been there ever since. Loooove. |
| Again with the Santas. More is better :) |
| The kids got to decorate our gingerbread house while Grandma was here over Thanksgiving. I think it's our cutest one yet! |
Slow down December! I love all the color and magic you bring to our home!

I love that picture of you! You are the true life Harold and the Purple Crayon-Kristen and the Purple Crayon!
Wow... where do I start?? Your collection of Santa photos are a true treasure. I love that one of you and your coat AND that purple crayon :) I am impressed with your bottle brush DIY Christmas trees - you should do a tutorial on those pretty things. Glad your new home is feeling more homey and it looks like your 1st Christmas there will be one to remember. We are hoping to do our gingerbread house this weekend.
