It was a dark and foggy night...

Late one night, soon after Christmas, I took my tripod out to the backyard to take a picture of our Christmas tree.  A minute or two later I turned around and saw a thick fog!  H and H immediately ran outside and started chasing each other around.  There's something a little magical about a little fog, no?

Our Christmas, in pictures

{our Christmas Eve table is ready}

{Secret Santa opening.  Henry's big thing this year was either opening his gift with his eye closed, in order to guess what was inside, or make a very strange face (you'll see what I mean) when I try to snap his picture.}

{more Secret Santa gift - we have such a good time with this.  Jon always wears my Dad's red velvet vest on Christmas Eve and his Grandfather's red velvet vest on Christmas day.}

{Christmas Eve pajamas!  Big surprise there ;-)}

{we laughed and laughed because Henry's came with a biiiiiig hold on the side.  So, a little Christmas Eve sewing was in order}

{reading our traditional book, "Star Mother's Youngest Child"}

{we started with Christmas Pickle tradition this year.}

{impersonating the Elf on the Shelf}

{Reading the letter from Santa}

{nice face, eh?}

It was...enough :)  The best ever, actually.
