One thing that seems to be lacking in the Houston area are pumpkin patches! For the life of me, I can't track down a farm where you tromp through the mud for acres, looking and looking at pumpkins until finding the perfect carver. There are pumpkin patches at grocery stores, in the parking lots of churches (huh?), and then there are the mega farms that have lots of fall activities. Because we needed a dose of fall fun we decided to check one out. The kids loved it and didn't didn't even notice the lack of pumpkin fields :) Take a look!

Looks like you had a great time and that you might need to get some farm animals for your house. Your kids are so good with them and those little goats are adorable. Did they have any pumpkins for sale? It looks like there was tons to do and I'll second the wishes for Fall temps. I'm hearing rumors that this weekend it's going to be chilly, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up.
