go out and play

We've been so fortunate to get the kids into some sports this winter and spring. Havalah has really fallen in love with tennis, (I know!!!!), which makes me just a little bit happy. I'm noticing that it is a great sport for her, because she is able to progress and improve at her own pace. She is such a little perfectionist, often politely interrupting the coaches to clarify the best way to hit the ball. Love that.

This young girl, who couldn't be more than 11 or 12, is one of the teachers' helpers and Havalah loves learning from her.

The ever patient brother.

But not to worry, he's back in the soccer saddle again. (I finally convinced him to take his hands out of his pockets.)

Henry loves to tell me that he's the fastest kid in class...

...and he loves to high five the coaches!

So fun to see them in sports. One of my favorite parts of being a mom is watching my kids do sports. Who would have thought I'd be the typical soccer mom? I love that Havah loves tennis-I bet you don't stop smiling the whole time she plays!

:) You inspire me! We've talking for years about the sports that we may have our boys play...I think we really need to ACT on it now that they are old enough to participate!

LOVE the pocket thing -- I can see how that happens!

These pictures have such great energy! I LOVE that your kids are playing tennis and soccer and clearly having so.much.fun! Would Hava give me a tennis lesson? I think I'm long overdue in learning how to play :)
