I really do try to reserve this blog to the happenings of our children, as a sort of baby book, but every once in awhile something comes up that I can't help blogging about.
I recently checked Sew Pretty Homestyle out from the library, which is full of easy, one day type of sewing projects. (Both of these are requirements for me! :) Each spring, shopping for or making a new purse is probably on my top 10 favorite things to do. I happened to be really spoiled this week because my mother-in-law just brought me two new pretty totes that she had picked up recently, and yesterday, I had time to sew a new spring bag. If you're in the mood for something new and fresh, pick up this sweet book and try one of her projects.
