Well, we finally bought our Christmas tree and sort of began our decorating. After lugging 14 Rubbermaid containers out of the attic we decided to simplify the decorations. Of course that meant going through each and every one of the containers pulling out just what we need. The only spot that is fully decorated is our front door.
Havah's performances of the Nutcracker are this week, so she spends a good portion of the day practicing her part and everyone else's too. Here she is playing the part of a toy soldier.
Jon is patiently putting our tree in the living room. About half the time he makes faces for the camera, but never thinks that I will actually post one. :) I wonder where Henry gets it...
Nice mess, huh? This blur nicely represents our evening. I can't post an "after" photo of our living room yet, because, well, it's still a mess.
The next morning we went to our first ever Home Depot Kids Clinic. This was AWESOME! It's now on the calendar to go every month. (Psst...it says it's for kids 5 and older, but I don't think they really care how old or young they are.)
Hard at work with "real tools"!!

(Hi Grandpa!)
Saturday night we went to the Santa parade in downtown Wenatchee. This is the shortest parade in the history of the world, but it's fun nonetheless!
Sunday morning was a sleepy, quiet morning. Everyone was contentedly playing or relaxing and Jon and I considered just letting the morning flow and skipping church. We eventually decided against this and I'm so glad because it was the day of the Christmas program. Even better, we had our kids in the service with us to they could enjoy the music and Nativity.

Fun! I felt like I was right there with you. I love just hearing about your day to day life. Can't wait to see a finished photo of the tree.
What a great post Kristin. I loved reading about your weekend and seeing the pictures. I really need to get Trent to that Home Depot kid's workshop...he'd love it.
You sure did have a busy weekend. I'm going to have to try that Home Depot clinic. I've always wondered what went on there....
Wonderful times together and all the "good" memories made! I know two very fortunate kids! Lovemom.
Wow, does that grinning picture of Henry look like Ken! :-)
I always wondered what they did at Home Depot clinics - looks fun! Now Henry needs to make another couple dozen easels to display all their great artwork.
