I (trying to) love snow!

Well, *it*'s here. They said *it* was coming. They said *it* was overdue. They were right. *It* came this morning. SNOW. If you read of lot of blogs you are probably reading about happy moms, dads & kids outside enjoying the snow. Well, I'm feeling just the opposite. I h*t* snow (we don't use the word h-a-t-e in our house - just ask H & H :). OK, I take it back. I don't mind snow when it comes for a week and then melts away. Actually, I even like it - in the mountains. But I don't like living in it...especially for the next 4 months. I think I even finally understand how some people dread the heat of summer.

So, here's my blog post where I get to complain about the snow and then I'll get over it and put on a happy face and when I run into someone I know at Target I'll smile and say: "isn't the snow beautiful?" And who knows, eventually I'll probably do a post showing our family outside enjoying the snow.
Thanks for bearing with me today. :)
This is what we read today. See...I'm trying!

No snow in Seattle! Maybe we should come visit you. Eli is dying to wear his snow pants.

how much snow did you get?

so far I'd say we are at about 4 inches. It's been snowing for over 24 hours and it's still coming...!

If it's anything like last year, it basically snows constantly until the end of March.

Kristen, I'm so sorry! I feel your pain. We have a dusting right now and it's coming down steadily and I'm the only one in my house that doesn't think snow is the greatest thing ever!

I like to look at the snow through the windows, but the only reason I'll go out in it is because I want to watch Hazel enjoying it.

I do need to get that Lois Lenski book - didn't know about that one.

I love this post...even though I am loving the snow :) In some ways though it is complicated...like when my newly potty-trained two year old needs to go to the bathroom and happens to be on a sled covered in 18 layers of wool...those are the moments I crave the naked days of July. Loved sharing this weekend with you!Havalah was incredible.
