He and I

I like sweet.  He likes salty.

I like to sleep in, he's an early riser.

He hangs up his clothes, I don't.  (Ok, sometimes I do.)

I take cream in my coffee, he drinks it black.

I cry very easily, he has a much thicker skin.

I hate sad movies (see above). He likes them, but because of me hardly ever gets to watch one.  (He's sweet like that.)

He stays up late.  I fall asleep on the couch next to him at night.

He makes everyone laugh.  I enjoy laughing at him.

He loves road trips, I'm learning to.

I always use lip balm, he won't touch it except in extreme circumstances.

I love taking self portraits, he willingly goes along with it.

He loves to swim, I love to sun.

I like shoes. He likes electronics.

He likes mild, I like spicy.

He takes his time and does everything well.  I speed through my projects and often have to redo them.

We're both extreme homebodies.

We both love amusement parks and especially Disneyland.

We both love our pets.

We both love going to estate sales and looking for old things.

We both love the heat.

We both love reality TV and Downton Abbey.

We're both sound sleepers.

We're both big Seinfeld fans.

We both love tea, but don't drink it enough.

We could both eat Mexican food on a daily basis.

We both crave time at the ocean.

We both love bike rides.

We both love to hold hands.

We both love to talk to the other.

We both think our children are the most brilliant, wonderful, funny little beings on God's green earth.

We both love the other more than ever.


I'm the luckiest and most blessed girl on earth.
