In other news, Henry's T-Ball team, the self named THUNDER STICKS, had their first game of the season on Saturday. It was an absolute crack up to watch 15 kids, that for the most part, have no idea how to play baseball. (With the exception of the coaches kids, of course.) Unfortunately, we played against a team that had absolutely every idea of how to play AND win. After getting our first few batters out on first base, they graciously said that we could play without outs. Whew.
But, he still managed to do really pretty well. Note his signature leg lift. He's pretty proud of that move.

OK, sorry for the photo overload. He just looks so darn cute with his hat all pulled down over his cute little eyes :)

Not to worry though, on the way home he said: "well, I know I'm reallllly great at T-Ball, and I'm sure they will want me on the Mariners someday, but as you already know, I'm gonna be pretty busy designing new Lego sets. Mostly Star Wars ones."
I was worried there for a second.

We love Henry! I've got that same leg lift in my approach to the ball too. And I'm so glad that he has a back-up job with the M's if his Lego design job falls through. :)
heee heee, I love that he wants to design Lego sets! What a great ball player you've got on your hands. I'm hoping that Eli will want to play next year because I really want to be that mom on the sides cheering him on. :)
Precious!

He,he,he...and really, why not?! :) Too funny! I needed a good laugh on a dreary day like today! Thanks for the pirate pic, that's awesome!
Ha! You had me at chicken dance. That is THE best.
My kids' only leg lifts were the twins relieving themselves on the sidelines of Ian's soccer games last fall. Whoops! Maybe their mommy should watch them better, huh? ;)
Love all the great photos. Priceless.
