Here are just a few things I'm thankful for right now.
Our girl who loves to run as fast as she can and then asks if I've noticed the way her hair billows out in the wind.
The fact that we have officially named our house and garden The Fairy Grove. (We always wanted to name our house.)
My coconut cream lip balm found at Grocery Outlet for only a buck.
Yummy Mother's Day brunch leftovers, including my mother in law's homemade quiche - perfection.
Texting back and forth with one of my sweet sisters in law. The easiest way for us to chat. :)
Looking forward to a bike ride with Jon and the kids after dinner tonight.
Planning with my oldest sister for a visit from her this summer.
Snuggling a girl and her kitten on the couch while we read history.
Watching H & H give unsolicited help to another child at the park. Sweetness.
Having Lego City right in our own back yard...who knew?
A new pink and orange t-shirt found at Macy's for 75% off.
Excitement for a special friend who is headed to the California sunshine for some much need R & R with her family.
Hearing Henry say: Mommy, I would give you money for that, but you know I'm saving to go to outer space.
The absolute blessing of being a wife and mother - the two things I love most in this world.
What are you thankful for today?

I tried so much to see some kind of sunshine every time I looked out the window and alas, just could not find it. I love your solution with James, that is beautiful!
Just saw the weather forecast for the next week and I think I need to go right now and read James too...Lord, we need your SONshine since we're lacking here in the other kind!
If you have not read One Thousand Gifts yet, you would LOVE it...it's right along with this list! I love that Ann Voskamp reveals how we can remian in God's throne room when our hearts are flowing with thanks if we can learn to do it as if we're breating in and out.
Thanks again for this.
Your mom was a wise woman. I loved reading your list. It made me smile. Your kiddos are so sweet.
I had a day like this yesterday, worst mood ever!! I too had to tell myself to snap out of it, remind myself of all the good things....
