I'm feeling thankful this week. Thankful for sweet friends who invited us to a (homeschooling) Thanksgiving Feast (even though awful road and weather conditions kept us from making it). I'm thankful that it took us 2 hours to get home from said feast, instead of the 8 hours that it took some people to make an otherwise 30 minute drive. I'm thankful for the family that we get to share thanksgiving with. I'm thankful that I get to snuggle up with Jon tonight to watch a movie. And, of course, I have to mention that I'm thankful for snow. How our little ones delight in these freezing cold days, with fluffy snow falling outside our window. Hours are spent catching snowflakes on black paper, putting water inside water balloons and setting them outside to see what happens and searching for icicles. You know, good stuff. And with the temps lingering around 20 degrees. I'm thankful for our warm, welcoming home. There is something about this time of year that makes me extra thankful for our home.
H & H wouldn't let me stay in the warm house forever, though. So, armed with new snowsuits and sleds (thanks Grandpa & Grandma!), we found our neighborhood sledding hill.

We are thankful for you too! Your pictures are so fun-wish we could have been sledding with you. :)
This snow has been fun! All except for driving in it. Your photos are so cute. Happy Thanksgiving!
