As happy as seeing these two little words makes me, I haven't wanted to write a post about it, because, well, the truth is, I'm a teensy bit superstitious. Don't tell. A little part of me is afraid that if I share the good news on the blog it will all fall through. But anyway, we are so very, very happy/thrilled/thankful that we have a wonderful family who wants our lovely old home! If all goes well, we'll close on December 18th and the kids and I will finally get to join Jon in Seattle. Yay!
In other news, we've found what we hope and pray to be our new home. It's a light and airy and all together wonderful 1922 Craftsman. The home inspection is today and if, again, all goes well, we'll be moving into our new house December 23. That's right. TWO days before Christmas. I know!
So there is a lot to do between now and then. I'm brainstorming how to get the house packed, keep our daily homeschooling schedule, and somehow make the season feel like Christmas (for H & H). But as we keep telling ourselves, in 18 days it'll all be over. Double yay!
