Milestone

Up until last week, Havah has shown absolutely no, zip, zero nada interest in learning to ride a bike. She's been very content on her Razor Scooter, thank you very much, Mommy. But lo and behold a few days ago she woke up ready to go for it. An hour and a half later, she was riding! Jon was so smart. For the longest time he had Havalah practice getting her balance with her feet down. He is the perfect parent to teach the kids to ride, with more patience than anyone I know.

Pretty soon she just took off! Last night she asked me if she is a blur of color when she rides by. "Absolutely!" I told her.
It's going to be Henry's turn to take the training wheels off this weekend. When I asked him if he was ready to learn, he basically told me that he was "born ready". How does he come up with this stuff?

If you listen closely, you can hear Henry saying "good job, Havah!" He was very graciously playing the role of the supportive brother, bless his heart. ; )

Way to go, Havah. How fun is that. What a great idea, too, to take them to the track.
