I love reading the decorating blog Ohdeedoh and they recently posted this idea (the picture above) for converting a closet into a mud room. At our house we have a little hallway that comes in from the back door. It's often crowded and there's no place to sit to take off shoes, not to mention the closet is filled with everyone's outdoor *stuff*. I guess that's why this idea seems so ingenious. I feel a weekend project coming on...

This is very cool. I want one too.Especially since it's all clean and organized in the photo, and I know it would always look like that... Maybe I'd add a curtain that I could cover it up with when guests were over.
Just ordered Hazel a wooden scooter. Resisted the temptation to buy a Radio Flyer. So hard not to spoil her!
I love it! We're in process of turning a closet into a mini mud room, too. My closet is a bit bigger, but very similar. I'll post pictures when/if we ever finish it ;)
Cute idea! Someday I will do things like this in a house again...
BTW, let's tell Hazel's mom that she should just start a blog... she has that blogger name all ready to go, and such a cute little girl to blog about... what do you think? :-)
