time playing with hazel. matching outfits from Grandma. warm, gentle sunshine. swimming in the lake. jumping off the diving board. putting hair conditioner on the slide to make it go faster. eating waffles, hot dogs and apple pancakes. picking raspberries off the bush.
walking in the kids' parade. shaking hands with a really tall guy. finding an unusually large snail on the long relaxing the walk back to the car. sitting on the porch swing with grandma discussing the best leaves to feed the snail/new pet. lots of laughter and silliness at the mariners game. jon "catching" a foul ball with his back.
waving the flag. watching daddy, grandpa and uncle eric fix the dock. swinging on the rope swing. giggling in sleeping bags when it was way past bedtime. tiring out the dog so that he sleeps for a whole day - straight.
eating uncle eric's birthday cake. staying up late to watch the fireworks. throwing "pop its". sitting on the deck eating snacks and drinking as much pop as possible. Thanks K & N for a wonderful weekend.
