to the moon...and beyond!

In case you've ever wondered what might be going through a 6 year old's mind:

Havalah: "Mommy, I've been thinking. I might have a little problem when I go into space someday."

me: (surprised and slightly confused) "Oh? Why is that?"

Havalah: "well, I will like floating around the shuttle when there isn't any gravity, and I think it's neat that I will have to be seat belted into bed while I'm sleeping so I don't float around. But there is one problem. I think the blast off, with the very fast speed, will be a little scary. BUT, I will really like seeing the moon up close."

me: "thanks for telling me. Maybe by the time you are ready to go to space, the fast speed won't bother you anymore. You will make a great astronaut someday, Havah."

Havalah: "yeah, I think I will."
