Birthdays!

Jon and I celebrated our birthdays this past weekend, which basically looked like this:  watch the Astros, open presents, more Astros, go out for dinner.  Astros again, sing happy birthday. Watch the Texans, more Astros, eat cake.  I may be hoarse and earned myself a few-dozen gray hairs after watching so many tense games, but hey, GO 'STROS!

favorite pastime: go thrifting or to estate sales

favorite season: fall

favorite celebrity: Julie Andrews (duh)

favorite weekend activity: going to the beach

favorite time of day: mornings for sure

favorite thing to do on a rainy day: bake

favorite fruit: mangoes or apricots

favorite road trip food: Combos and Diet Coke (I know)

favorite hobby: reselling and decorating

favorite holiday: maybe Halloween? It feels like the kick off for the holidays
