Eeeks, summer, you guys! I love this time of year. This has been our life this summer: wake, play, eat, sleep, repeat. There has been just so much good stuff this summer, and we are making a serious dent in our bucket list. Today I got an email from Classical Conversations with the fall curriculum list and school year schedule and it reminded me that we've gotta soak in wonderful second of summer.
check, check and check
yep.
We loved hanging out with our friends at VBS, and making some new friends too. This was the first year that both kids were able to volunteer. Yay!
froyo on the patio-o
he's a sun lover for sure
a quiet morning routine (and the yummiest plum jam from Wenatchee!)
Cars 3!
The summer of pie! This one was a dark chocolate
The kids had a blast at Urban Air last week. It's like a next gen bouncy house place.
Henry's summer obsession is making model cars. I think the people at Hobby Lobby are starting to recognize us...
a massive coke ICEE!
I'd really love to hear, what are you doing to make the most of this wonderful season??

I am impressed with all those checks! You're blasting through your summer fun list. We are trying to do the same. Plan fun things with lots of low key summer fun. It feels so good not to set an alarm most days and stay up a little later than usual at night. I'm hoping to head to the pool and let the kids play in our sprinkler this week :)
Sooo sooo fun! Our summer list so far has included a weekend in Sun Valley, VBS, Homeschool Convention, planting our garden (some of it a couple of times due to bad weather, a couple of frozen yogurt stops, a trip to the Capital Outdoor Market and a trip to the zoo. Up next on our list is Eli's birthday (on Friday), Basketball camp next week and tennis lessons. Sadly our summer is a bit short because we school year round and will start up again in July. But hopefully we will still fit some fun things in here and there.
Hi , I enjoyed reading your gratitude. Have one question about jon's - was he serious about the Texas heat? or just kidding. I will be working on this. Best to count your blessings always. Thanks for the encouragement !!
