Life Lately

A week ago we flew up to Seattle to help my in-laws celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.  It was a four-day weekend of fun with Grandma, Grandpa, aunts, uncles and cousins.  It's been awhile since we were all together and there was much catching up.  :)  Per usual, I didn't capture nearly enough of the weekend on my camera, but here's a little glimpse.

When your plane sits on the runway for 90 minutes before taking off you start taking pictures to pass the time

There were a lot of mamas to celebrate on Mother's Day!
We don't have lilacs in Houston, so I made up for it by picking one whenever I could.  LOVE these.

We went to the Salish Lodge at Snoqualmie Falls to celebrate their 50 years. It was gorgeous!

Everybody!

One of the highlights was meeting baby Curtis.  What a sweet babycakes he is!

Taking Grandpa's Land Rover for a ride to pick up dinner.

Look what I found at the airport on our way home!

Mama's day gifts from my littles. How you know you're a boy mom and a girl mom :D

You guys!  We made it through dissection class!  We felt like we really needed to celebrate with shave ice. :)  The class was awesome and reminded me what a incredible design God has for living things.  In all, the kids dissected a lung, heart, brain, eye and fetal pig.  I was very grateful that Jon was able to come for the final class and help dissect the pig.  #holdme

Pizza night on our final day of Classical Conversations.  Any tips on how to get this one to smile normally? I don't want to be a joy killer, ha ha! ;)

And a picture of sweet little kitten squish to make your day.  You're welcome.  :)

Loved it all! What did you find at the airport...those gifts?
Did the kids have fun here? I hope so. I never sat and had the conversation with them as I hoped and regret... Did they get a ride in the Land
Rover? Did they love it? Get stopped by a policeman/woman? In my heart, I was
Smothering them with lip kisses haha.
So nice to see them, and y'all together. I think you had lots of conversation time with the others, I hope!

What a fun trip! It's always great to see family and familiar things. Glad you were able to make a fun family trip out of it. What new candle color did you pick?? Happy Summer!!
