I love looking around at all the color that comes with Christmas decorating, even though setting up little vignettes doesn't come naturally to me. One of my sisters once told me that I'm more of a "clean swept" decorator, and I think I've kind of clung to that over the years :) However, we have a whole LOT of Christmas stuff. The kids love setting up most of it - and I do believe they are quite good! Pretty much every nook and cranny has something festive tucked there...and here are a few of those bits and pieces.

A peek at some of our more colorful Christmas baking. I was excited to add a Christmas sweater cookie cutter to the mix this year.

...and mine. If you know me, then you completely understand ;) I laughed pretty hard when Jon asked, "tell me again why we need a burrito on our tree?" :D #chipotlerun #amiright?

| Bellsie is hanging in there - she looks forward to the USPS guy ringing our doorbell right at 7:00 AM, most days |

We've been working hard in the kitchen this week. Sugar cookies, cherry white chocolate shortbread, orange white chocolate truffles, gingerbread, and hopefully Springerles tomorrow...(please wish me luck on the Springerles!)

Your home is beautiful!! I love your globes, TX map and cozy furniture in your family room. I'm sure you spend a lot of time in that room. Love all of your Christmas scenes and special touches. Your kids did an amazing job. Hope your springerles turned out! Kevin loves them and his Nana makes them for him every Christmas. They're the cutest cookies - I just wish they were a different flavor haha
