Life lately

{my stack of teacher's books}
{English grammar work for Henry}
{persuasive writing for Havah}
{costume shopping}
{Latin parsing}

{silliness with my Henry}
{celebrating 3 years in Texas!}
{Newman's Castle}
{view from the bell tower}
{bed of nails}
{one of the dining halls}
{the bell tower}
{Sweetie pie Chip baby}
{a colorful collection}
{eating our way through Six Flags in Dallas}
{not pictured - brisket nachos! :P
{Ina Garten's milk chocolate buttercream}
{Henry's Slither.io birthday cake}

It wasn't easy, but we tracked down Dude Perfect's HQ in Frisco. Henry (and every other boy in America, LOVES these guys. I'm thankful they are such good role models.

Fall days are the BEST, aren't they? As the temperature drops into the high 70s I am quickly reaching for jeans and long sleeved t-shirts. Not quite sweater weather, but, you know, I'll take it. I'm itching to buy pumpkins but the kids want to wait for a visit to the pumpkin farm. :)
We are getting ready for a visit from one of my sisters in law and niece, Hazel. We're excited to see them and do some fun things together. I'm thinking the American Girl store and ice skating. If this gorgeous weather stays with us, maybe the Houston zoo too.

Have a a great week!

You are such adventurers!! I love that you celebrated your Texas anniversary and Henry's cake turned out great :) Glad school is going well and that you always seem to pack so many family fun things into your days.

I understand Henry's birthday cake much better now, since I've seen him playing the video game. I tried to play at home, but my mouse wasn't responsive enough. Good thing, or I'd have a new bad habit.
I forgot to confess when I was there, that I didn't know you were still updating your blog! I'll let you know how embarrassingly behind I was when I know...
