Exploring: Galveston

On a Sunday afternoon last month we decided to be spontaneous, (yes, I see the irony in that statement - ha!) jumped in the car and drove an hour to Galveston.  We'd been there before, last year on vacation, but how different, how nice it felt to be there as a resident of Texas.  We were only there for a few hours, just enough time to explore the famous Murdoch's, walk the beach and have dinner.

Sometimes it feels so good to be spontaneous!  ;-)

What a fun trip!! The clouds and the beach look beautiful!! I've heard about Galveston but have never been there. It seems like your family had a great time. Your gorgeous pictures make me want to add it to my travel list. Yay for spontaneity!!
