Transition

Our house closed last week (yay!), but it truly was a killer of a week. Although not hiring a moving company was a good financial decision, it just about did us in physically. We HONESTLY could not have made the 9:00 pm deadline on Friday without the help of Jon's mom and dad. At 8:49 pm we finally pulled away from the curb. Ohmyword. I've never been so drained (except for the last time we moved, I'm sure. wink)

Since Jon's firm still needed him for another week, his boss offered up their beach house as a place for us to stay. I drug my heels at first, but now I'm realizing this is exactly what we've needed to come down off moving exhaustion.

The beach home is an hour from a grocery store or any other retail diversion, so we have to stay-put and take advantage of the peace and quiet.

(Just a quick word about this beach house community. AMAZING. These homes are fantastic and really should be called beach mansions. What a blessing we get to enjoy it!)

So, here's what we've been up to:

{his salty beach hair cracked me up! Love it!!}

Down time sounds so nice!! Just lay around & nap & read books & take this time to rev
up your energy. I think things will start to get really busy. Will be praying for you as you
drive.
