Seabrook to Grants Pass, Oregon

Today was day one of The Great Family Road Trip. I'm calling it that because Jon's been dreaming of a road trip like this since we were married. Who knew we would be doing it with our belongings, a tent trailer, a dog, a cat, a goldfish and four stick bugs?

Today was, thankfully, uneventful. We worked on finding our groove. The kids worked on their travel journals (Hi. We're homeschoolers.) Jon and I listened to some comedy on Pandora. We stopped at lots of rest stops to run around.  Henry got a new camera - an early birthday present. We made a list of God's blessings to us throughout this moving process.

A good day!

Thanks for sharing the excitement. I remember we stopped at city playgrounds and ran around...
