happiness is...

Happiness is the friend who brought Havalah a bracelet back from Maui, exactly like the one she had lost.

Happiness is sitting in the front yard and watching the boys run around in the heat.

Happiness is the popsicle lady that pulls right into our driveway.
Happiness is the light at the end of the day.

Happiness is making plans to redo the kids' bathroom.

Happiness is the game de jour.

Happiness is this face.

Happiness is seeing Jon walk through the door after work.

Happiness is watching him play Aerobie.  He's good!

Happiness is watching Jon climb the tree to retrieve the very same Aerobie.

Happiness is a freezer full of Popsicles.

Happiness is a purple parasol.

Happiness is a pretty purple hydrangea.

Happiness is spotting this note in Henry's room.

Happiness is getting the first 8 weeks of co-op planned and prepped.
Happiness is a whole stack of half finished books.

Happiness is walking into Henry's room in the morning expecting to see him asleep and instead find him reading.
Happiness is taking a pretzel making class.

Happiness is eating said pretzels.

Happiness is a whole month of summer left.

Happiness is goggles that don't leak.

Happiness is pretending we live someplace warm and that these hot days will last forever.

Happiness is having the sun shine right into our eyes.

Happiness is (are) his freckles.  Love 'em.

Happiness is a play day at the park with some new friends.

Happiness is days at the pool at the pool with my people.

Happiness is the sound of our capiz shell wind chime tinkling in the breeze.

Happiness is curriculum that is slowly starting to arrive.

Happiness is seeing photos of a new baby niece.

Happiness is a pretty leek that will be in our soup tonight.

Happiness is seeing H and H grab hands and pray together before eating lunch at the IKEA cafe.

Happiness is trying to photograph the night sky while sitting outside on the swing.

Happiness is a boy who makes me laugh by laying on 10 (ten!) pillows.
The prince and the pea indeed.
