hello monday

Hello rain coming down in sheets.

Hello yummy smelling candle that makes our school space feel cozy.
Hello impromptu run to Starbucks for a hot drink for the three of us.

Hello perks of homeschooling (see above).
Hello to Havah putting out all my fall decorations!

Hello gorgeous weather over the weekend and finally painting our house (or at least 1/2 of it)!
Hello only two weeks to go until vacation! (Can anyone recommend a good book? A light hearted read is what I'm hoping for - nothing too consuming.)

Hello to a house that needs a really good cleaning.

Hello homegrown tomatoes and to making salsa with this new to me recipe.

Hello Monday and fall and a brand new week!

Mmm, your tomatoes look beautiful! I had a good tomato harvest this year too. Of course, mine went into sauces and soups...and my favorite sandwich! I've never quite mastered the art of making salsa. It's always not quite right when I do it.....

Your outlook is such a breath of fresh air! :) Thank you for this!

I'm reading a wonderful historical fiction series about the Oregon Trail. It's both fascinating and beautifully written about a group of amazing women who must come together to survive and triumph -- the author is Jane Kirkpatrick and the 1st one is called "All Together in One Place".
