a regular day

Sometimes it's the normal, regular days that are the most special. That is one of the best things about kids. They don't need extravagant routines or expensive outings to be happy. It's the little things. Like a kitten that interrupts a report on Hummingbirds.
Or learning about space, when it happens to be Henry's favorite thing right now. It all started with the Go Sky Watch Planetarium App, which I can't say enough about. Now he's engrossed with learning about the planets and stars.

And then a rainy day trip to the indoor jumping arena. Two hours and two sweaty kids later, we were ready to settle in for the night.

So fun! We are doing planets next month. I love your little flip up book; what's inside? Can you bring it on Wednesday so I can peak?

ooops, if I looked more carefully I would see that the planets are pictured inside. duh! Can you still bring so I can look? AND any other great space ideas that you have.

I will! I found so many great resources that I'll bring...including a whole section from Nasa for homeschoolers. Nasa also had this cool thing called a "star finder" for each month of the year, showing what is visable in the night sky each month.
