Zoo Lights 2010

We tried something new this year...Zoo Lights! I've always been a little "eh" on something like zoo lights. There are so many other expenses around Christmas time, that paying to see lights wasn't really high on my list. But, oh my, was it cool. We met the rest of our Seattle/Los Angeles family there and walked and skipped and ran and sang through the zoo lights for 2 hours. Plus, I'm always up for some photography challenges.

Please, please, at Jon's request, try not to notice that he schlepped my purse around for me.

This one's my favorite. The two silliest people evah.

We also spent a ridiculously long time with this sweet as sugar camel, Duma, and his trainer. Ok, so I had no idea that camels are amazingly soft. Like bunny rabbit soft. Mr. Trainer also sent H & H home with their very own wad of soft camel hair. How's that for personal service, I ask you. (see the pretty blond lady in the corner? That's my sis in law, Hilary!♥)

WOW!!! Your pictures are SO COOL!! I've never heard about it before but just seeing your pictures make me believe that my boys would be utterly captivated by the lights.

Who knew about the camels?! Thats so funny! :)

Oh, fun! Is this the Point Defiance zoo? Christmas lights are quite a photography challenge, but your photos are great!

I'm so glad you liked it! I'd love to have copies of these photos (as would my mom), if you'd email them. You got some great shots!
BTW - the drive through lights south of you is $13 per car. It's pretty neat too, but not as good as Zoo Lights...
