Jon has been known to take over the kitchen and make something really, really yummy. It's usually on a Sunday afternoon, when he has the time to put it all together. Yesterday, he outdid himself with a superb baked Zitti. Oh.My.Gosh. So good. So are you ready for the cutest thing you've heard all day? Well, while Jon was taking over the kitchen, Havalah pushed me out with the promise of "a surprise". Without any help or advice from her chef Daddy, Havah whipped up these little morsels. Adorable.

Are you ready for this? Chopped pears in strawberry jam. Yes, it was sweet. And yes, she did this completely by herself. And isn't her presentation the BEST? I'm a proud Mama.

She's informed me that tomorrow's project is homemade meringues. Stay tuned...
