tissue foil shine

A fun art project to share

Materials needed:
glue stick
foil
tissue paper
pictures torn out of a magazine
watered down paint
glitter (optional)

This project is so fun! My kids couldn't believe we were using foil for our art today! First have your child tear the tissue paper into interesting shapes. Then give him some magazines and have him tear out some fun pictures. (great for strengthening those little fingers!) Next glue it all down onto the foil. Lastly carefully paint over everything. Henry really went to town with the paint, Havah was a little more careful and blotted up some of her paint if it covered her pictures too much. Then, sprinkle the whole thing with glitter (I personally don't think it needs glitter, because of the shiny foil, but my kids have a glitter addiction :) The last thing we're going to do is glue the foil onto some black paper, to really make them shine.

Happy creating!
