She's six!

We can't believe it, but it's true! Our little girl is six! We went to Edmonds for a Mariner's game and celebrated there at Grandma & Grandpa's house.

Grandma had everything decorated and Grandpa made a birthday breakfast, strawberry pancakes!

After breakfast we drove up to Everett for a Scholastic book warehouse sale. So fun! Later we had lunch at Red Robin. We tried to talk her into getting a cupcake from Cupcake Royale in Ballard, but I think she wanted a large group of employees to gather round and sing. :)

Mr. Messy Messyton from Messytown

cute little cousin Hazel. such a doll Happy 6th Birthday!

Havalah & Jon paid attention to the game, while Henry and I mostly goofed off
don't you love the girl over my shoulder?
around 10:00 pm H. started to slow down

Saturday morning we went down to the beach at Carkeek park to play in the tide pools. The kids have always loved standing on the bridge and watching the train go underneath. we saw all kinds of cool sea life, but the crabs were our favorites

such a fun morning! Carkeek is the park where Jon grew up going and is one of our favorites. Being there made us realize how much we took places like this for granted over the years.
